As far as I know, this was the first-- but not last-- comics character named Spitfire.

MISS AMERICA #2
Since I already covered the Miss America of Quality Comics, I should probably let the other shoe drop and feature a fight-scene for the slightly later Timely Comics character.

JO YOUNG-HEE
From an oddball Korean manhwa titled XO SISTERS, which I've just started. (Note: finished it quickly; this is the only good scene.)

AKANE of LOVE TYRANT
There are various girls named "Akane" in manga, but I suspect the one from this series is the scariest.

NAGATORO
As I recall, this scene from the anime DON'T BULLY ME, MISS NAGATORO is an imaginary sequence that doesn't appear in the manga. But I could be wrong. The boxing-girl in question is the titular Miss Nagatoro, and the young fellow getting slammed is her "sempai,' whom she bullies because she really likes him.

KAY MCKAY
I may dump the alphabetical thing for now, since occasionally I come across some trivia-item I want to blog about right off-- as is the case with the Ace Comics obscurity, "Kay McKay, Air Hostess," who must have been the first adventure-oriented stewardess in comics.

FF #135: DAFFY DILL
This comedic wrestling-girl started out as rather homely, but by this time she took on a more toothsome apperance.

FF #133: BRANDY
Without necessarily putting any labels on Frank Cho, let it be known that he's really good at f/m beatdowns.

FF #127: SHANNA THE SHE-DEVIL
While Sheena was the first jungle-girl in comic books, Shanna was-- well, not the last in all comics, but the last one initially published for newsstand (rather than direct-market) comics.

FF #123: MISS AMERICA (1942)
A rare punchout-scene from the first Miss America, who usually clobbered crooks with special powers.
FF #122: LADY SHIVA VS. CATWOMAN AND TALIA
Three of the most comely chicks in the Bat-cosmos, courtesy of Jim Lee, and arguably better than ever before.
