Basil Wolverton usually left all the rough stuff to his comical star Powerhouse Pepper, but in TESSIE THE TYPIST #2, he also introduced a female "powerhouse," Bonnie Brawny. The hero still gets to save the heroine from the villain, and then must flee the real threat: that of matrimony.
