Boss abuse by Suzie.
And uncle abuse from Ginger.
a DIACHRONIC study of the IMAGE of the POWERFUL FEMALE in POPULAR (and maybe other) CULTURES
Here's Dream Girl putting thugs in dreamland.
An Old-West botanist becomes fascinated with rare flowers consecrated by an Indian god of evil. He sees (or imagines) the flowers becoming women, and he becomes so besotted with them that his jealous wife tries to destroy the blooms. The botanist kills her, but the murdered woman appears among the flower-harem and kills him-- though the "realistic" explanation is that he was killed by breathing poisonous fumes.
Getting to something other than the heart of the matter...
"And now it's time to say goodbye--" Yes, I've now reached the end of the GSM series, and it wraps up with the following scenes:
And though the last proper episode of GSM didn't focus on the Mikami-Yokoshima relationship, Takashi Shiina got to bring the two comic characters back for one more sadistic encounter.
Assorted scenes from "The Longest Day," except the first, in which Mikami discovers that her ancestor Mephisto had a thing for Yokoshima's ancestor (and even slugged him the same way). Then Mikami meets Mephisto's creator Ashtaroth, who regards himself as her creator as well. Don't know who Mikami's mortal father was, but she uses the demon to resolve her daddy issues.
In "The Right Stuff," we have a contrast between Old Yokoshima, who was stupid enough to tackle Mikami based on "hormones," and New Yokoshima, who become adept enough in battle that he almost bests Mikami in combat, though he loses because he holds back.
In "Another Tragedy on Valentine's Day," both Yokoshima and his rival Saijou eat magically-treated Valentine's chocolates, with the result that every woman who sees them, wants to kill them.
In "Heart's Odyssey," Yokoshima loses his memory, and Mikami gets the idea to reprogram him into an upright citizen with aversion therapy. But Okinu misses the old perverted Yokoshima, and mousetraps her boss by sending the young horndog into Mikami's bathroom, so that her naked body provides a different form of "shock therapy."
Later, in "Master of Magic," Mikami shows her broad-minded tolerance of competitors.
When Okinu enters a high school that teaches ghost sweeping, Yokoshima goes nuts over the prospect of seeing a bunch of high school girls, even though he sees them all the time at his own high school. He only gets a couple of love taps this time from Mikami.
As romance kindles Mikami's heart, her urge to pummel her heart's desire grows exponentially in "Stand by Me."
"Death Zone" starts off with Mikami in their usual modes.
But the advent of a goddess sends the two sweepers back to medieval Japan. There they meet their reincarnation-ancestors, with Yokoshima's being an exorcist while Mikami's is a demon, and of course both of the ancestors look roughly like their descendants. Though the demoness Mephisto is initially subservient to exorcist Takashima, she can't keep the dominant Mikami nature from surfacing.
