AMAZONS AND LIZARDS

 In a stand-alone tale from OUT OF THIS WORLD #1, a couple of modern day guys get stranded on an island where the humanoid inhabitants sacrifice victims to man-eating lizards. This incoherent story, drawn by Joe Kubert, proceeds so rapidly that one doesn't even know why the two guys get saved from sacrifice by a bunch of local tough girls. Maybe they just wanted some diversity in the gene pool?

TACKLING THE DUMMY

 Teen doofus ERNIE was nothing special, but he had a sister, Billie, who was depicted as a forthright girl, who (in just one story) is seen working a punch-bag in their yard-- something you certainly didn't see every day in the period.

However, the closest she came to wreaking violence was when she once tackled her dummy of a brother.

ADDENDA: For reasons unknown to me, ERNIE was also known as ANDY, but his sister BILLIE stays the same, and in SCREAM #19 she's seen getting rowdy, confirming my suspicion that she was meant to give "tough girl" vibes.

ACES HIGH

 From Ace Magazines's FOUR TEENERS comes Sorority Sue and her fellow girls teaching at least one guy the pleasures of BDSM. The girls end up being forbidden to play football by their teacher because she says they play too rough.

And later, a purely symbolic splash in which amorous Curly almost walks the plank thanks to his girlfriend and her two hot cousins.

WESTERN WALLOPS

Here's the Cross-Draw Kid getting his skull creased by Naughty Nita:

And the Kid's co-feature Sheriff Sal slammed around various skunks, the last looking like she's both punching the guy at the same time she pistol whips him.
